Tracy McCollum is the mother of two boys, Cal (17) and Max (14) and wife to Mike McCollum for 27 years. Over a 32-year span, she has been certified with AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America) to teach a range of group fitness classes, including: Step Aerobics, Kickboxing, High Impact Aerobics, and Power Pump weight classes. However, she never felt as complete as she has since yoga came into her life. About 10 years ago, Tracy’s mother began teaching yoga and peaked her interest. Tracy began incorporating yoga into her daily routine, and she know that this was something she had to share with others.
Tracy is now a Registered 200-hour Yoga Instructor, Barre Certified Instructor, and is additionally a certified leader for Y12SR (Yoga for the 12 Steps of Recovery).
In addition to her many fitness certifications and qualifications, Tracy is a Licensed Massage Therapist and also stays very busy as the business owner of Standard Rule Promotions, which will be celebrating 70 years in 2019 (Tracy has been with them for 27 years)!
She believes that our bodies are meant to be moved every day – both emotionally and physically. As Jimmy Valvano said on the ESPYS before he passed…“If you laugh, you think and you cry that’s a full day!”
